Community work

During the Autumn term, we worked on two projects: one for the children of our school and another for the local community.

Firstly, we had a great idea to create a fidget toy box for each class for children to enjoy using and also for anyone who may be feeling anxious and need to calm down. We were given some money by school to choose and buy some fidget toys. We then decorated and filled a fidget toy box for each class.

Secondly, we asked each class to make some Christmas cookies. We boxed these up and delivered them to the local care homes and also local businesses,  service providers and neighbours of the school.

Well done everyone!

Next term, we are going to help organise 'Daffodil Day' to raise money for Marie Curie and we are going to be making baby blankets for the special care baby unit.
